How These Numbers Are Counted
Everything on this page is worked out from today's date. Days left counts the days remaining after today until December 31 — so on the last day of the year it reads zero. Full weeks left divides that figure by seven and rounds down: whole weeks you can still plan in, with the leftover days shown next to it.
The current week number counts seven-day blocks from the start of the year: week 1 is January 1–7, week 2 is January 8–14, and so on. That is why a normal year ends inside a 53rd partial week — 52 full weeks make 364 days, leaving one spare day (two in a leap year).
